Well where do I begin. This blog is one that Chelsey & Mike have been waiting for and the wait is now over. With a few teasers on our home page, they had to hold on to their seats! Chelsey & Mike are one of those couples that are so laid back, that their day unfolded as smoothly as their smiles  and their fun happy wedding party ( hi Karen!) were livin' it up. They are all young, good looking and and the girl were - how do I say it? - gorgeous! From the time I stepped into the house the energy was flowing. I knew that the mojo was working and the energy kept climbing as the day progressed. Mike and Chelsey had an open door  policy, to do whatever my creativity wanted. They wanted 'creativity unleashed' and trusted my instincts. They gave me a few hints of what they liked and with a bit of research they got something special. This was pretty much a wedding of 'go with the flow', I love it. I love being allowed complete artistic freedom alongside some direction from the couple - it really works for me, and ultimately for them! ( As a side note that spark was a continuation from the wedding of Karen & Eric's last year, another great couple) The variety of styles and locations is something that has dominated my shooting style this year. It is great to capture the love that people have for each other and to do it with a desire to be the most creative as possible. This wedding like many others was one of them! The locations that this couple picked were inspiring and meant a lot to them. And let's not forget the Old Fort and how it was decorated, from Cathy of Elegant Impressions and the flowers by Vaillant Florists- beautiful work folks! Here are just a few highlights from what I feel says  "them".









              

















               









               





















Chelsey & Mike what can I say, it was a real treat to be with you  and your wedding party all day and to capture images that are truly some of my most original work. I know these will be hidden in your hearts and minds forever. Thank you for making it special for me. Alan
