Country Boy meets City Girl

Adam is a country boy, born and raised in Pass Lake, but when he met Kirsten (a true-blue city girl at heart), he knew she could kick her shoes off with the best of them! They are an easy-going and laid back couple, and their wedding was planned with charm and nostalgia to the very core. The ceremony was being held at Salem Lutheran Church in Pass Lake, so the week before the wedding, Alan drove out with Kirsten to check out some venues, most especially Silver Islet and its amazing landmarks. The beach, the bay and the wonderful store all became key in creating a mood of playfulness and fun, (which is evident by the wild and crazy wedding party!) And I'm loving the long veil - this is one trend that I hope lasts a good long time, as it adds so much whimsy to wedding photography (good choice, Kirsten!). The splash of green on her dress picks up the natural, outdoorsy element of spring and to cap it all off, Kirsten's flowers were so lovely that even a bee came to call! Take a look at some of my favourite images:

Props to Kirsten and Adam and their friends for creating a wedding with vitality and freshness and flair, and to the good old Sleeping Giant, for its Silver Islet treasure.

We just love the pictures what a wonderful job!  When get to see them all I'm sure we will have a tough time choosing the one we love the best. Proud parents of the groom and proud inlaws of the beautiful bride.

We really enjoyed working with Alan, he was fun, professional and full of energy the whole day.  The pictures turned out beautiful and we will cherish them for the rest of our lives.  I always knew that I wanted Alan to do our photographs, and I couldn't be happier with the results!
