December was a relatively mild month for us northerners. There were only a few days that were truly what we would call 'cold'. But of course, that one day of -17 degree weather was the perfect day for Crystal and Andy and their engagement session. And while it was chilly outside, they both had plans to heat things up! They are, for the most part, a casual, relaxed couple - Crystal is a microbiology researcher at Western University and Andy is a teacher, and works with kids with disabilities. They met long ago while working together at the ill-fated 'Humpty's' restaurant and were friends for years before falling in love 3 years ago. They chose the easy-going elegance of Vickers Park for their engagement session, as a tribute to Andy's parents who had their wedding photos taken there. But their casual class hides a zany side, and once Andy got into the groove, there was no stopping him! The snowballs were flying fast and furious, but don't feel so sorry for Crystal. While Andy was making cozy with the camera, she had devious plans of her own! They brought their Golden Retriever 'Scratchers' along for the game, and together the three of them kept each other warm in the cold temperatures! Alternating from smoking hot to chilling cool, this couple has an energy that can only barely be captured.
