Jenni&Mike-The Un-party Party!

When Jenni was planning the wedding, she was entirely convinced that it was going to be serious. Classy. Sophisticated. No Party, with an emphasis on the NO! After all, Jenni is known as "The Little General" by friends and family. She is organized, deliberate and in control. What she didn't factor into the plan...was Mike! Mike, the charmer, the comedian, the free spirit, who swept her off her feet and for a 'little general', that can be a strange sensation. They met at work, when she was forced to sit across from him for days on end. No, she was not interested. No, she was not amused. No, she was not even remotely considering the possibility of dating him. She was the ballerina, he was the 'skater boy' - well, hockey skates! She had plans after all - plans that didn't include Mike. Mike, however, had plans of his own! He charmed her, he made her laugh, his free spirit caused hers to begin to soar and before she knew it, Mike was beginning to factor into more and more of her plans! Well, a good general knows when to admit defeat (anybody hear the Abba song "Waterloo"?) and finally, she allowed herself to be swept, and she hasn't set foot on the ground since! This wedding was about the meeting of two diametrically opposed forces, of control meeting chaos, of organization meeting freedom, and it's so true - opposites attract! For one thing these two have in common... is Romance with a capital R!

From shots in the home to the ceremony at Fort William Historical Park, the day was charming, romantic and sweet. Jenni has just the most amazing eyes, and Mike, well, he only has eyes for Jenni! But. naturally, with Mike being Mike, the un-party began to evolve into a Party and before she knew it, Jenni was having fun! Romantic fun, silly fun, free-spirited fun! And when they had decided to book the photomonkey photobooth for the reception, well as they say, let the fun begin! Finally, after being totally bombarded with fun and party and silly and songs, the little general began to relax and for her, the wedding became the very celebration of the word 'Party!'

So, here's to Mike, who was able to break through the defenses of this organizational diva, bringing the ballerina back to the dance floor and sweeping her off her feet. Romantic guys are just the best, right girls? And here's to Jenni, the little general, who fell in love with the poet and finally found her happily ever after!
