Shooting engagements these past several months has been filled with excitement, energy and fun. Even though each couple has a different story about how they met, the end result is always the same -Falling In LOVE! Yes couples like Mike & Melissa truly show that love, especially  in how they interact with each other. Let's give you a sneak peak at how this lovely couple met. Melissa was a young sweet grade 9 student at Hammarskjold High School back in 2002 the first time Mike saw her, and he was in Grade 11. They started to date but it wasn't until the summer prior to her grade 11 year that they became an item. After they both completed high school, Mike went on to become a teacher and Melissa a Dental Hygienist. Now that their careers were set, their plans to wed was the next thing to accomplish. This couple had some ideas of their own of where we were to do our photos, and yes Hammarskjold High was one of those spots. Mike led me to the spot that he first saw Melissa and there she stood 8 years later, being photographed next to her man! This couple had such an affection for each other that was fun to capture and play along with. It was a great time. Those little moments at the school must have brought back some very special memories. The whole session was treated like a fun fashion shoot. Take a look at some of these:

    



    

    





Also, Mike's parents had an out-building on their property where they spent a good deal of time with friends, and that spot was one that they both liked and wanted to be included in the photographs. It was the 'little cabin in the woods', with a little stream running through the property - a quaint little spot. It was a wonderful time creating images of the two of them at a spot that had a lots of history for them. I can't say enough of this couple - their smiles were just beaming and the love they have for each other came through in every shot. It was another engagement session that was just so much fun to be apart of.

    



    



    
 
Mike & Melissa you two make such a great couple. The time I spent photographing both of you was very enjoyable and I know in June 2011,  it will be the same.  Alan
