Now for a Special Engagement..
The engagement session serves a few very different purposes for a wedding couple. Firstly, it is a great way for a couple to get comfortable in front of the camera before their wedding day rolls around. In fact, we often find that the potential grooms, who are often reluctant or hesitatant at getting their picture taken, become regular GQ models and by the end of the session, we have truly created a fashion monster!!! (Just kidding, guys - you look mahvelous!) It also gives the couple a variety of really great images for an Engagement Book, or our widely popular Wedding Guest Signature Book. But for Alan, it's also a great way to scope out locations for the wedding day, and more importantly, to get a glimpse into what really makes each couple tick. For some couples, it's the urban setting, with a downtown vibe that captures their identity. For others, it's the great outdoors, with Northwestern Ontario serving as a stunning backdrop for romance and spirit. Every place has a special meaning for each couple, and some choose locations that have played a huge part in their history and courtship. Whether its urban or rural, our city is very much involved in defining who and what we are, and these images just scratch the surface.
