Savannah&Clint- Memories...

Savannah and Clint are a couple that is alwasys full of surprises! Confident, brash, whimsical, shy - these are qualities that showed up during that beautiful sunny day in November! Savannah is a wild and crazy gal, and we were totally unprepared for her romantic, dramatic and slightly gothic side, and the day unfolded, it began to tell a story of drama, of history - and her-story, of family and friends and a lifetime of relationships that change and grow with time. Clint is calmer, a rock for this amazing woman, and you can see him in the photos, beaming with quiet pride. The wedding was a family affair, with Savannah's girls involved every step of the way, and little Georgia stole the show with her sweet nature!

Trinity United is simply a stunning venue for photos, inside and out. The old stone, the stained glass, the classy architecture, and after that, the cemetery. For a wedding the day after Remembrance Day, it was important to Savannah to honour the memory of her family, and some of these images are so bittersweet and emotional. Once again, everything was coming together in a celebration of history.

To the Marina next, to show off yet another side of this couple's story - the fun of the skateboard park, the funky edge of a waterfront building, the classic and oh-so-romantic drama of Lake Superior. Savannah worked the camera, channeling her inner starlet, and Clint smiled proudly the whole time (see Clint! You're a natural!) The wedding party was hilarious, both guys and gals bringing their energy into the mix and everyone had a pose or two for posterity!

The reception at Airlane was wonderful, again a celebration of their wild and crazy families! It was a multigenerational affair, from toddlers to great-grandfolks and you can feel the story being passed from one generation to the next.

Savannah and Clint, you are wise by including others in the telling of your story. Your tribute to the past speaks well of your future, and that of your family. May the years be good to you both, not too wild, and just a little crazy, all the days of your life!
