Sherry&Carmen-Vegas Style!

From the first shots of Carmen leaning back on the hood of the 1963 Corvette, to the reception and it's sparkling swing feel, this was a wedding that postively shouted VEGAS! Sherry and the girls had spent their bachellorette party in "Sin City", and brought back all kinds of great ideas for the wedding (not to mention great shoes, purses, flasks, etc!!) Sherry's dress was simply stunning with a full pick-up skirt and lace underlay and sparkling details on the bodice, back and skirt. Her shoes were amazing - hot flamingo pink with rhinestone's studded on the soles! Take a look at some of these shots:

The ceremony was at St. Patrick's Cathedral, again a wonderful place for the ceremony with it's vaulted ceilings, gleaming wood and stained glass. The ring-bearer was the cutest little guy - check out the reactions as he struts down the aisle! Sherry was so elegant, but the joy was contagious and it was hard to remain serious, even during the vows!

Then off to Centennial for some one-on-one time with the Bride and Groom. They both love Centennial because of its mature trees, old buildings and Thunder Bay history. Sherry loves the train tracks, and while it's not a traditional "Vegas" scene, it still says 'them', and the roughness of the wood enhances the beauty of her dress. Carmen was game for anything as long as we got some sweet shots with the car!! The day was perfect and the light just glowed off these two in some of the shots! Here are a few of my faves:

Then finally the reception. All I can say is "WOW." The DaVinci looked like something right out of the Sunset Strip, with beaded fabric, flamingo pink florals (props to Flower Shed and Silk&Cedar) and dim lounge-style lighting. All you needed was the martini! And like las Vegas, the party went on and on into the night!

Congratulations to Carmen and Sherry on a lovely wedding, complete with class, elegance, Thunder Bay history and just the right amount of Vegas bling!
