When we shot Stefanie and Randy's engagement photos last summer, we knew we were in for a treat. This couple is crazy in love, and they are so full of life that it set the standard for all our engagement shoots afterwards. (See their blog HERE) So we knew their wedding day was bound to be just as remarkable and full of life! Randy is a surfer dude to the maxx, and it was fitting that he was given a brand new surf board on his wedding day, to ride the waves into his new life as husband to Stefanie. This girl is a bundle of energy and joy - with her sense of humour, big smile and dimples, she lights up any room!

The ceremony was held at St. Patrick's Cathedral and Alan got some fantastic shots of this lovely church, complete with reverence, prayer, blessing and love in equal measure. I love the shot of Stefanie's parents, just beaming with joy at the union of their beloved daughter to this great guy! This is one happy union of all families - you can just tell from all the smiling faces...

Since water, sand and surf is a big part of this couple's life, they chose Chippewa for the site of their wedding photos. As we've said before, Chippewa has it all - great beach, lush forest, log cabins, huge rocks and hey - a Merry-Go-Round! In fact, Our Chippewa Carousel has Historic status as being one of the few remaining original CW Parker carousels, built between 1918 - 1920, and one of the best preserved in all the world! Wow! Then, off to the DaVinci which looked like springtime with it's green and pink dressing! Stefanie's French Canadian heritage came on strong, with the poutine cart offering up its yummy wares, and the French quarter dancing well into the night. Of course, the photomonkey photobooth was there for the fun, and as you can see, some of the masks made their way onto the dance floor!

Stefanie and Randy, you have been a joy to us right from the first photograph. You love life, you love each other, and you make everyone around you just a little bit happier for knowing you. God bless you in your future! Alan and Heather
