Superior Cross Fit - Light Speed
It's all about light. Light and darkness, shadow and substance, movement and power. Superior Cross Fit/Superior Athletic Performance Studio Inc is all these and more. In partnership with Modo (link), Alan just shot this amazing new gym and some of its athletes for a new ad campaign, and shaping it all was the light. The human body is a powerful machine, and this form of cross-fit training is designed to push that machine to the very edge. The flex and pull of muscles or the strain and snap of tendon, nothing can capture the raw emotion of that experience like the bending of light and the molding of shadow. You can see the effort on the faces of these athletes as they strive for just that little bit more. Alan loves to shoot work like this, as it is art in its rawest, purest form, and any one of these shots is worthy of a sculpture, a coffee-table book or a poster.
